W. Tyson Vanlandingham serves as Chief Practice Manager at ARC and is a Co-Founder and Principal of Council Family Office.

Tyson Vanlandingham has worked in the financial services industry services since the late 90s, beginning his career as a Financial Advisor at Dean Witter | Morgan Stanley. In his 24 year financial services career he has provided financial planning guidance to his clients as a Private Client Advisor, Vice President at JP Morgan Chase and Partner, Founder and Private Wealth Advisor at Faubourg Private Wealth Advisors.

Tyson is a member of the Association of Employee Benefit Planners of New Orleans.

He is actively involved in local charities, including Grace at the Greenlight, helping New Orleanians experiencing homelessness with food, water stations, and family reunification. In March 2020, Tyson and a group worked together to support local musicians and gig workers by producing live music shows and live-streaming over 100 shows worldwide from a Mardi Gras float. Since then, what is now called The Funky Uncle has raised over $850k allowing grants to be given to over 900 musicians and gig workers. Tyson looks forward to continuing his work with non-profit organizations, focusing on various fundraising initiatives.

Tyson and his family split time between Metairie and Venetian Isles. When not in the office he loves getting away for fishing trips, boating, and kayaking with his son Grayson and their two dogs, Wella and Ryder.

Tyson earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of Mississippi.
